You can fiddle while Rome burns if you like, but this country has been taken over by the worst kind of people among us, the most corrupt, most elitist, most greedy and selfish. It is a major crisis. The 5-7 trillion in deficit spending alone could bring us to our knees. The effects of the Iraq War could do the same. Allowing Big Oil and other major corporate interests carte blanche to do whatever they want could also cripple our progress. Then there is Big Brother, the new NSA secret government they illegally set up. Wow. We have to take this country back. Honest Republicans included. And also, the rightwing may try to change the subject and blame Mexicans, but Bush is pro illegal immigration, so he's no ally of the rightwing's on that issue at all. In fact exploiting that cheap labor is one of the ways his fat cat pals get richer.
