Agreed. If they take the care to make sure they are dealing eith with a international or domestic call, one of whose conversants they have probable cause to believe is a terrorist or connected to or acting for terrorists, they can do any d*** thing they please as far as I'm concerned. If their actions prevents another 911, everyone involved should get a Medal of Honor and a LARGE bonus. Internal domestic calls present a problem. They should be able to get a warrant in secrecy to tap and also follow the terrorist(s) involved.
