lol,
don't get them started on that again...

they look pretty damn silly thinking 40% is a lot better than 60%, especially considering the circumstances...

"the debt went up under Clinton??"

Over the whole 8 year period? Yes. Of course, Clinton had inherited a large deficit. $290 billion, from Sir Bush the Old. By 1994, that was down to $200 billion. By 2000, there was a surplus. That rapidly changed under Dubya.

the debt went up under Clinton?? but you libs said Bush wasted CLINTON'S Surplus. Were you lying? Again

Let me say this slowly so that maybe you can understand. There are a couple of important statistics when it comes to the budget. One is debt......how much we owe from past spending sprees. And then there is annual spending......do we spend more than we take in revenue or less. During the last few years of Clinton's tenure in office, revenue exceeded spending. It was the first time in years, maybe decades, that the federal gov't generated budget surpluses. However, once spoiled rich boy Bush got into office everything Clinton gained in surpluses, he has spent and more.

But the important takeaway for you......you know the article you posted......the one about the biggest one month tax collections since 2001.........that's typical GOP spin. They only give you guys a small insight to what's going on, but they make it sound like its the ultimate point. That's how they snooker you guys over and over again. Of course, it takes two to tango.....that's what you all want to hear. And they design that cotton candy fluff specifically for you all.....because they know we don't read their crap except when we want to projectile vomit.

So.....the federal gov't may be taking in more revenue recently but its going out the door faster than a rocket reaches orbit speed. And its adding to the federal debtload even faster.

Does it make you feel good knowing how much they screw with your heads......playing with you.......manipulating you like you are stepford kiddies?
