That statement DOES NOT limit itself to abortion. It says the 14th amendment grants a right to keep the gov't out of your life EXCEPT (note that - it is the answer to " broad right of privacy would require just about the dismantling of the whole Federal Government." It says the right can be breached by proper legal process. The gov't can search your home IF they first get a search warrant.)

Roe v. Wade specifically follows that with " including a woman's qualified right to terminate her pregnancy."- -ie., the right to abortion is only a PORTION of the rights protected by the 14th amendment.
