Checked on Zillow and it's a little bit higher than I thought. Interesting site, thanks. Real estate is all about location. There's a house up the street I wouldn't give you a nickle for but it's worth just shy of a million because of the location, and the lot, over an acre. All the houses around it are much nicer, they're worth $800K but are only on 1/5 acre lots. Those houses raised up our property values enormously just by being built a block away on formerly vacant land. Seems silly to me, but there it is. I've learned something about human behavior by observing the phenomenon but I am completely unable to put it into words. Something about herd behavior?
