Sorry if I wronged you by lumping you into the "constantly complaining and always looking for the worst in GWB" group. But that seems to be a self feeding frenzy these days....to the extent that some valid negative points can be glazed over and taken for the flood tide of tripe put out by his domestic political enemies.

Personally, I don't expect much success out of governments in general. It is far easier to catalog the failures and bureaucratic blunders. We have a history of being reactive to problems long after the need for action should have been very clear. Woodrow Wilson and FDR both ran successful campaigns as peace candidates at times when we should have been fully engaged in preparing for war. The previous administration failed to respond in any serious way to numerous attacks and gave the impression that we were little more than sitting ducks.

We can always respectfully disagree on tactics...but my approach is that if I don't like mosquitoes, then I'm not going to constantly bitch at the guy trying to drain the swamp.
