Condi Rice was the worst security advisor in White House history. She had absolutely no qualifications in terms of security, military or intelligence experience, ignored terrorism, didn't even know what Al Qaida was and ignored the 8-6-01 warnings along with Bush himself. So what did Bush do with her? Fire her? Nope. Promoted her. When Colin Powell realized he'd been used and lied to and resigned, Condi took his place. Talki about failing your way upward.
