ManyMoose, According to the chocolead death episode, the guy had been ingesting about a pound of chocolate during his poker marathons, extending over the course of about 16 years. I don't want to give away the rest of the plot and thus spoil it for others who may yet see the show, but I think there was a catalyst involved which potentiated the death by chocolead.

I missed the hamburger bullet episode you mention but am sure I will catch it on reruns. I guess any projectile of sufficient density and stiffness and velocity could inflict serious harm to the human body.

It seems that CSI Las Vegas did do an episode which involved death by a construction nail gun, but my memory of the episode grows hazy as to exactly how the murder was carried out and for what purpose. - Holly
