Tim, That's just it! I have done much in recent years to simplify my life, and this includes not bothering with a switch box from my friendly local cable company. In another lifetime, I used to have a switch box, thus necessitating programming three--count 'em three--timer and channel boxes whenever I wanted to tape something while I was away from home or otherwise occupied. Well, you get the picture. As a result of declining said switch box, I do pay for programming I do not receive, such as HBO and a few other channels--a small price to pay in my quest for simplification. Another part of the problem is that I have a TV/VCR/DVD all in one unit. More simplification. <g> - Holly
