Jim S, My understanding is that the original (legal) applicant gets all tax and other credits plus a portion of the illegal (or imposter) worker's income. After all, the person doing the actual work is using the (legal) applicant's name, SS number, DOB, etc. As such, the illegal worker has no identity or skin in the long-term tax and other credit game, for he does not exist (at least, he does not exist in the files on record). - Holly
