My parents took us on that cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary, along with the rest of the family and many friends. It was an enjoyable event for them.

I liked the ship for having something for everyone, although there wasn't anything that particularly appealed to me since I am a dyed in the wool land lubber. It was like a big hotel that I couldn't get out of. I do remember the midnight feast with sculptured food, but I don't recall a lot of super heavy people on the ship at all.

We did see one show in Nassau that impressed me. It was a woman archer. One of her acts was setting up a series of targets, which, if she hit it properly, would set off two or three more crossbows in sequence, the last of which shot an apple off the top of her head.

I figured she could be useful in elk hunting camp.
