The federal government should never have built the federal highways. Since they did they have consistently used it to blackmail the states and diminish state's rights.

One of the few Constitutional duties the government has is to maintain the military. I support that.

Yeah, and what a bullypulpit it's been. GOPwingers have used the withholding of federal transportation money to states which did not comply their respective marijuana laws to federal laws.
