@Eracer - Practices
"
Higher performance, more aggressive pricing and better power consumption from Intel will make for a good safety net to compensate for losses due to declining monopolistic practices.
"

The huge huge volume leader will have competative products -
oh I see, the world will go under ...

"
I was saying that if Intel can successfully sell Pentium 6xx against Athlon 64 then AMD will have a very tough fight on its hands trying to pitch Turion X2 against Core Duo and Core 2 Duo.
"

Seems like you mix something ... whether AMD will gain Busi-
ness Notebook share with X2 has to be seen, but when I "only"
think at the consumer, with the new modells AMD has alot of up-
ward momentum and could play in all fronts, I said this now
often enough. I also said more than once, that the crucial
point for AMD will be business wins in all sectors - means,
Server/Workstation + Desktops + Notebooks. I don't know even
one SINGLE!!! point, whether AMD shouldn't gain HUGE SHARE!!!
in ALL!!! segments.

"
I don't have a crystal ball so I can't actually see the future. Can you?
"

Of course not, but your posts did imply that - so be careful
with implicit predictions.
