Peter, American business owners who represent both political parties, but primarily Republicans, have lured the illegals invasion across the border by providing jobs. Why? They tend to enjoy making huge profits on the backs of those who consider slave wages an improvement over their former lives. The illegal workers make no demands whatsoever on their employers--forego benefits, no complaints about inhuman working conditions and most telling of all--no pressure to raise wages. Americans won't take the jobs "at the wage offered"--the end of that sentence is always conveniently dropped by those profiting from the slave labor. The irony is the illegals' leaders have already stated their first priority will be unionization immediately following amnesty/citizenship, for their future born-again union workforce.
