However, 'self evidence' as an enlightened and qualified measure was found at that time to be sufficient proof.

But they were trying to start a revolution. You have to tell the people what they want to hear. One of the five Intolerable Acts was the Quebec Act. That set the boundaries of Quebec and gave the Catholics in Quebec the right to freely practice their religion. I presume the founding fathers figured that no one would question what was in the Quebec Act. They just accepted it as intolerable. Whatever works.

I might also point out that when they wanted to have a revolution, there were inalienable rights. When they wrote up the Constitution they made it pretty clear that inalienable rights could be taken away through due process. Which effectively cancelled "inalienable".

Prove it.

I did in the previous post. As a supporting scientific study, I propose that you shoot a hollow point 9mm bullet through the middle of your brain. Once we measure that there is no neural activity, we'll ask you if you are self aware. This shouldn't be a problem for you as you believe that life is never created or destroyed.

This concept you have of life never being created or destroyed is pretty neat. What that tells us is that when conception occurs a life is not created and when there is an abortion, life is not destroyed. Hence abortion is a non-event. Let's pass it around.
