Well, I just checked and the TDP for the i82945PM MTH is 7 watts. So the 42 watts combined puts it far above Turion 64 X2's 35 watts. And that HKEPC chart may be up to date or maybe not.

Another little Napa platform secret is that the chipset only supports a 32 bit processor address bus. Now there's supposed to be a "Napa platform refresh" that occurs simultaneous with Merom. Perhaps that adds some pins and 40-bit address bus functionality to the Napa platform, but who says that the TDP will stay at 7 watts? No one. And it's not clear that the Napa Platform Refresh will be achieved when Merom ships, or later.

As recently as March 2006, the INTEL MULTI-CORE FACTS, FIGURES AND DECODER RING" intel.com was telling its OEM's to expect the following:

Intel is also on track to
start shipping its processor, code-named Merom, based upon the new, state of the art,
energy efficient Intel® Core™ microarchitecture to align with the Holiday refresh
selling cycle later this year.

And on page 2,
"Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family, Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 -wireless connection. Will also support the “Merom” processor on the Napa Refresh platform which will ship to align with the Holiday refresh selling cycle later this year."
