Clinton balanced the budget and gave us 3 years of surpluses, stopped the 1999 LAX Al Qaida attack and brought the country and world together like never before. He was without a doubt the most successful and popular president since JFK.

Yes Clinton cheated on his wife, so he was not perfect as a man, but even so, his lowest approival rating was 46%, and he left office with 65% approvals, higher than Reagan.

JFK of course was murdered by the rightwing (like his brother was) so we'll never know just how great he could have been. Some day the Cold War would have been ended 15 years earlier and Vietnam would never have been escalated.
