However, like most true believing arrogant lab cloak clerics...

An ignorant statement. Science makes no attempt to infringe on theological beliefs. They don't demand equal time in the Church pulpit. They don't attempt to prove that god doesn't exist. Nor do they claim that there is some physicially undetectable life energy that just exists. They do come up with theories in the context of testable theories.

If you want to use physics as evidence of something, fine. Just don’t present your beliefs as proof and expect to get away with it.

If you want to speculate that there is some life energy you're quite free to do so. If you want to state it as a fact, "self-evident" falls rather short of the mark as a proof. What I've offered as proof of self-awareness [or lack thereof] far exceeds anything you have to offer to the contrary.
