Kerry would make a great president regardless of what you think about his handling of smear campaigns. Doesn't mean he'll win. No one even knows who's running yet. But assuming he runs again, this time he's going to come out much stronger against rightwing BS, because this time the country and the press will be with him on that subject. Even Republicans have to be disgusted with the smearvets. It polluted our entire democracy. I have been pushing Kerry's folks to present solid evidence linking Bush to the smearvets. As DElay and ROve get indicted more of that evidence may come out. And also solid evidence of massive cheating in Ohio 2004. That kind of evidence will completely vindicate him, aside from all the big issues he was right about.
