Last time the law moved in on a polygamist town, they defended themselves, then massed in the center of town waving flags and singing "God Bless America". Then children and women cried as they were torn away from their husbands and father. Ugh. What a mess. This raises all kinds of tricky questions. Especially with Christian conservatives saying marriage must be between one man and one woman, and the Mormons being big Bush-Cheney supporters. In fact Utah may be the last state Bush where has a 50% approval rating.
