Proof FOX NEWS is part of the White House spin room.

The Daily Show showed clips of six different FOX NEWS anchors in a single day repeating the same White House spin (which was a lie) on the illegal domestic phone-record gathering. Every single one of them said that this was not listening to calls, merely gathering records of the calls, though none of them have any evidence to support that. They all also said that this was important to protect us from terrorism. Yet none of them have any evidence the illegal domestic surveillance has anything to do with counter-terrorism.

All in a single day. Amazing huh? As Steven Colbert said, every single FOX NEWS anchor has now become the White House Press Secretary. Not just Tony Snow Job.

Also, Bush and all his White House spin doctors claimed in January that their illegal surveillance was not domestic at all, only foreign calls from Al Qaida. Now they have stopped claiming that, having been proven to be total LIARS. What's next? Oh yeah, today ABC reported that their reporters have had their phones tapped by the White House. Trying to protect us from terrorists, no doubt. What A-hole liars these Bushies are. And Fox is a disgrace to the journalistic profession.

Bush Calls For Amnesty for Illegals (among other BS, plus the kitchen sink)

"At the same time, Bush is insisting — as he has since he was governor of Texas — on a guest-worker program and a path to citizenship for many of the 11 million-12 million illegal immigrants now in the country.

He challenged Congress to "honor the great American tradition of the melting pot, which has made us one nation out of many peoples," in addition to better defending the southern border.

That drew barbs from both sides of the political spectrum.

"It's amazing how tone-deaf this man is. This is the No. 1 issue that will lead to the takeover of Congress by Democrats," said longtime conservative activist Richard Viguerie. "The White House doesn't seem to have receivers. They only have transmitters."

Did you notice that AS lacked the attention span to respond to your question?

No cable news channels are liberal. All have more conservatives than liberals, or 50-50 in the case of CNN. The only biased network is Fox News which has no liberals at all except Alan Colmes, who they no doubt picked because he was the least telegenic in the country. They pit him against sharpie Hannity who is one of the slickest liars on the planet. Fox News is also the biggest so their bias is very weighty. Fox News has a pretty poor rcord on accuracy too. They mainly try not to piss off their very rightwing boss.

The NY Times may be a bit liberal, but they report fact. The only time they made a serious error was when they believed Bush-Cheney's WMD lies, which Cheney and Rove tricked them into publishing. Then Cheney and Rove used the NY Times as a source, after they knew they were the ones who had planted the lies in the first place. the NY Times had to retract all those Judith Miller stories.

As for CBS, they mainly just report the news. Their CEO and boss Sumne Redstone endorsed Bush in 2004, so how can they be that liberal? ABC is Disney which threw away FAHRENHEIT 9-11 despite owning it and knowing they'd make 200 million. How liberal is that? Not.

meanwhile radio is about 95% conservative and rightwing (the two are not the same thing anymore) and thoug ed Schultz is the new star we need about 30 like him before it's anywhere near 50-50. More proof of the rightwing power in the media today is the fact ANY of the metworks covered the smearvets and gave them free time. That was nothing but an obvious smear campaign.

What good news from Iraq? It's a frigging civil war and we're caught in the middle of it. We don't know who is friend and who is foe. Our troops are on daily suicide missions which even if they succeed won't change anything. It's costing us a trillion bucks too, all deficit spending.

We've had 20,000+ brave heros killed or wounded, and the typical wounds are really nasty, including thousands of amputations.

Quit believing in myths and lies, grow up and get real. Murtha is telling the truth. Iraq is an unmitigated disaster. Our troops desperately want to come home and if you watched BAGHDAD ER you see that the IED's (which exist because Bushies didn't guard Saddam's ammo dumps) are ripping our brave heros to shreds. In fact some are even dying of tiny sliver wounds which find their way into their hearts.

Shame on you for perpetuating the lie that there is "good news" in Iraq. The only good news will be when he get the hell out of there and start rebuilding out decimated military.
