Democrats saved this nation from the monopolies of the anti middleclass, anti consumer, anti freedom, anti workingman robber barons, Vietnam War mongers and fascist tyrant totally7 dishonest McCarthyists of the 50's. That has been proven by history. Eisenhower warned us about you bastards when he left office. So get real. Not a single Republican has left office without a huge deficit and huge scandals. Clinton and Kennedy ran this country like tops, almost perfectly despite the rightwing smears and murder, and Carter had the best energy policy of any president, which Reagan promptly disbanded upon coming into office, on orders from Exxon no doubt. Exxon in fact may be the one biggest eveil ever to plague this nation. formerly Standard Oil which was ordered to break itself up. But never really did. Time to break up Exxon again. And tax it heavily as a fine for its major league ripoff schemes. Halliburton too on a different level.

Problem with the Libertarian Party is I've known too many who make comments like: "I'm Libertarian, except when it comes to health care" or "I'm Libertarian, except when it comes to the environment." Hey, if Libertarians were all that they could be, I'd probably be one too. But the way I break it down is I have to ask which Party is best for all people? The answer I get is The Green Party. But they've never really had any chance, especially with the media the way it is, and likely they won't ever get a chance. Maybe more Katrinas could change this. But the odds are they'll be shut out of the debate, as always. Some Libertarians lean right; some lean left. I doubt you'll get the party you want. Conclusion: Support people over profits--and the Democrats are the best bet.
