No excuses left to support Bush-Cheney, even for Repubs.

I am sad to say that too. I grudgingly respected Reagan and Bush Sr., but not these political crooks. They are an outrageous and growing threat to our nation and democracy's future in all kinds of ways and have already cost us trillions.

Party Time, sorry this response is somewhat late. I disagree with your post re illegal immigration & Pres Bush's poll #s. It's the principal reason his base became disenchanted. When we see credible evidence supporting his promise to beef up border security, you'll see his approval ratings spike. The vast majority of Republicans still support the War on Terror in Iraq, but they strongly disagree with amnesty for illegals and open borders.
