i thought New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and a women is the governor of one of the other states in that area. new mexico borders Mexico and Richardson has come out against the national guard in an interview i saw last week. Richardson said last week Bush proposal is strickly politics and he (Bill) doesn't agree with putting Guard on border. his recommendation i didn't hear, i flipping stations but i expect he prefers adding to border patrol.

Of course Richardson has to walk the line i expect he has a lot of legal citizens who can vote, that have come across the border or have relatives who have come across illegally or want to come across.

tough situation for these governors.
