While I know plenty of Spanish speaking people none of them have the patience to continually correct and translate. I bought the Berlitz Spanish course (advertised as that used to train embassy employees) but so far just hasnt trained ME. Incidentally, when I was young I had 3 years (Spanish I, II, and Conversational Spanish in College, so its not like I never had any training. I can sort of read it, but they talk so fast I cant comprehend. jdn

Used to work with a guy from Taiwan. He said he always automatically spoke one dialect with his mother, a different one with his father. I think I am rather crippled being mono-lingual.
