After being there so many years and then so many other places so long, you can have Texas with my blessing. If I didn't have family there I wouldn't be back.

Whoops, looks like I'm going to have to crank up my defense-of-Texas post again. Austin is one of the great places to live. Period. Dallas and Houston are among of the worst.

So what is it you don't like about Texas?

So 66% of the Texas voters preferred Bush over Kerry in 2004(apples). 49% approval rating as president last February (grapefruits).

The 49% is probably lower today given the immigration fracas.

90mph hardly strikes me as dangerously fast if you have a good car and are driving on a flat straight highway in the middle of Texas.
