That's a trick question! :) You and I both know there is no such law. But something Russo said last night almost made me fall out of my chair. In all the years I heard the debates about the IRS, I never heard this: he contends that from 1916 to 1923 the U.S. Supreme Court declared eight times that the IRS had no authority to tax the income of individual Americans earned from their own labor. If true, this is absolutely stunning. Especially stunning that I never came across that earlier!
