In the case of Iraq, the far left was right.
I don't consider myself far left, and I was right.
So were a lot of people posting at that time.
It was just a matter of being informed and not caught up in hysteria.

This has nothing to do with the economic philosophies! It was those who have a libertarian ideology that were right about Iraq, regardless of whether they were leftist (like Kucinich et al) or centrist (like many folks on this board) or even right-wingers (like Paul Craig Roberts et al).

The people who were wrong were either the authoritarian types (Dumbya and most of his fans) or the confused and befuddled types (Kerry, Edwards et al).
