More Intel Call Options Piled On

The put/call ratio on Intel (INTC: sentiment, chart, options) is falling . . . still. People seem determined to call a bottom in the shares even as they continue to trend lower. I've been harping on this issue in this space for quite some time now, and the situation is only getting worse. For INTC shares that is. Since early April the Schaeffer put/call open interest ratio has fallen from around 0.70 to 0.42, which is now below 91 percent of all readings over the past year. Today's put/call volume ratio of 0.26 should help push that ratio even lower. Once again, such optimism toward a stock displaying extreme weakness is cause for concern.
