Nor do I ascribe much value to someone who judges a newsletter writer on the basis of one pick where what CC wanted to pick had already been claimed by someone else. I'm doing lousy in the contest because my first 9 picks, 8 of which are ahead of what I ended up with, were already taken. I assume it's not trite to point out that CC's newsletter does not provide you with one pick but a basket of dozens from which you can choose for yourself, as the odds against any one junior resource company making it big are small. To put it another way, winning a one-stock contest, esp. one featuring junior resource companies, is as much a matter of luck as anything else. Drop CC a line and he'll send you some samples so you can make a more informed opinion about its worth. LC
