There is no evidence JFK had any interest in a war in Vietnam. What he had in there was an advisors force, just a typical police action. He never made a single speech advocating war in Vietnam. Therefore to assume he would have done anything else is baseless. In fact, his refusal to escalate the war may have been what got him murdered. It's the most logical reason considering the fact billions and billions in war profits were at stake.

LBJ on the other hand was best friends with a company called Brown + Root, now known as Halliburton. Sound familiar? The biggest war profiteer of them all.
