SOTB,

I'm not a fan of NASCAR, and I do not think it requires much athletic ability, but it does require skill and guts. NASCAR is confirmation of the end of the advancement of western civilization.

Tennis, which I do not play, is a very demanding sport. I might argue that conditioning for tennis is among the highest for all sport.

Golf does allow the consumption of beer while playing, and it is one of the few sports that the ball does not move before you strike it, but it demands a very high level of skill and coordination.

To each his own I say. Baseball to me is boring and I don't want to patronize a sport if you can scratch yourself while playing and not offend the fans <g> I guess that goes for Baseball and NASCAR.

P.S. I think your position on gold is a bit funny. It is difficult enough to pick a winning sector in any market, but I think the essence of your opposition to gold the past few months is that you picked a sector that did better. I say if you bet win, place, or show and collect profits, you have made a good bet.

The real question is, at what price for POG will you admit that gold has been a good investment?

That's why God invented synchronized swimming...

Yea, but it's much easier on the eyes. Picture Urlacher or Johnson doing synchronized swimming in their speedos.

I remain,

If Danica Patrick was as loaded with steroids as the average ballplayer, I'm sure she could hit on Randy Johnson, either on or off the field.
