I do believe that Bush had a BIG hand in the invasion. Daddy's war, etc...

However, the essence of my statement was simply to point out with some emphasis that one statement can be laughed off just as easily as another. But just about always, the official story is given credibility often without deserving it but because officialdom has easy access to the "credible" media.

Disagree completely. i read a long article in Foreign Affairs(CFR mouthpiece) that(as I recall) outlined the current middle east invasions way before WMD fantasies were trotted out. Long term US oil game is control of central asia and middle east supplies.
