Thanks for posting that Rich - Sorry for the delayed reply. I meant to do so yesterday, but I was running late for PT & a doctor's appointment when I read it. It then slipped my mind.

Yes, when you consider the source, the New York Slimes, & their track record which this thread has thoroughly documented - for them it is about as fair as they will get.

I completely disagree with the notion that the Bush Admin had a serious political consideration in their release. This thread documented the story of their existence (we knew about them since the fall of Saddam's regime) right up to their eventual release which was delayed endlessly. Bush handled it like any other decision during his Presidency. He did what was right.

The documents speak for themselves. I see no evidence of "cherry-picking" from the right. However, the MSM & the leftist blogs have done their damndest to make sure most Americans are kept ignorant of all evidence of Saddam's numerous ties to terrorists, his WMD Programs & his adamant intent to ensure his regime could produce massive quantities of WMD's the minute sanctions were ended. And let's not forget those documents that add support to Saddam's bribes to end those sanctions as well as make illegal weapons & dual use WMD equipment ET AL.

Very well said.
