you... A serious restructuring may present other problems - how much of their already depleted cash will be needed for severance, lease terminations, etc? me... good point. It's not going to do much for moral, but INTC has to make major changes somewhere, probably lots of places. For one, INTC's way of committing multiple teams to the same or similar problems is going to have to change. Personnel reductions are where the real/ongoing savings are, no matter how bitter the pill. INTC has some very tough times ahead it. The times could rank right up there with the conversion from memory to Cpus that completely changed INTC.
