Plame is a top CIA agent protecting the country. She was serving her country when Bush-Cheney outed her identity and comproised the CIA's entire Iranian operation, something GHW Bush called "insidious treason", especially as she was an Iran WMD expert and we are now wondering what to do about Iran's possible WMD. It was the CIA who demanded the investigation of the White House leaking, not "liberals". Democrats and liberals have nothing to do with this case. Also Bush himself lied about this outing on many occasions.
