In what possible scenario could the alternatives been worse? Lets say Al Gore tossed out 100 billion dollars on spotted owl preserves. That's still three times better than the money wasted for nothing in Iraq. TP

Use a little logic - is it likely that Gore or Kerry would have been worse than the worst President in modern times? If either had only been a BAD President, it would have been an improvment! If they'd been mediocre Presidents, it would have been a MAJOR improvement.
