@Eracer - modells
"
There have been much fewer selections of AMD notebooks than Intel notebooks.
"

With 100% NB DC share its not that surprising, that Intel
has more designs. ;-)
When we look at the whole market its clear that Intel helds
the clear lead. Noone here questions this. And I'm wondering
why you bring this stuff again online? Its old, its common
knowlegde and its the base for strong growth from a low
starting point for AMD.

"
Finding an AMD notebook with just the right specs (screen size, memory capacity, hard drive size and RPM, manufacturer, price, etc.) is more difficult when shopping for an AMD system.
"

Looks like a repeat from the sentence above. MSS is low in
this sector, we all know that. I'm not happy with this, of
course, but we couldn't change the situation in all sectors
in a few months. Notebooks is AMDs weakest spot - thats clear
and they have to work hard to catch up. But OEMs haven't done
that much in the past and the most frustrating thing for me
is chipsets, where Intel is doing a real good job.
But look at the progress in the last months after Turion
launched. I remember a time, where AMD books only had 1024x768.
They had only 14'' screens and XP Profs. was nowhere to get
with AMD notebook-systems. So the situation is WAY WAY better
and I'm seeing no real big feature in Intel stuff which AMD
hasn't. Of course you have MUCH MORE choice on the Intel side,
but shouldn't surprise when you held near 90% share.

"
But Turion X2 will probably be somewhat rare in the next few months while Core Duos will be just about everywhere.
"

Because of what? The systems will appear in june in mass and
way more will appear as Q3 goes by - just the same as Intel.
BTW: haven't seen that big DC push in the market in notebooks
yet. Where are all the Core DUOs? I don't see them. What I
see is a huge huge amount of SCs - of course from Intel. *g*
Should tell you something nearly 6 months after launch.
