Number of US soldiers killed in Iraq this month so far : 50 The numbers for May 2005, May 2004 and May 2003 are 80, 80 and 37 respectively. The longer and longer this struggle lasts, the less and less likely that US will emerge the winner, and the more and more likely that the Iraqi resistance forces will win. Many of us knew about this mess even before the invasion happened. And even though some people like Murtha voted for this war, they are smart enough to realize when it is time to fold the tents and go home. Unfortunately, the shots are called by the Dumbyas and the Cheneys, the Condis and the Rummys, the Boltons and the Frists, and other assorted cowards. So as long as they are at the helm, more and more and more US soldiers will keep dying - all in vain and all over a pack of lies.
