I strongly believe that there are imminent HP business notebook wins coming

Is that faith-based investing? :)

If HP believes that AMD will be back on top in 9 months, they won't drop their AMD percentage one iota.

Why not? Would AMD punish them for cutting back until AMD fields a competitive product again? Besides, even if AMD closes the gap a bit next summer, won't Intel just accelerate away again with 45nm Core2 and Core3?

In the consumer sector, customers want AMD now, they are trained like Pavlov's dogs to want something with a 64 in it.

Then why is AMD not selling at capacity? Why was AMD so cautious with Q2 guidance?

Even better, what if HP decides to issue Win 64 XP with drivers for their laptops...Do you think Intel would drop a load in their pants...some people are claiming up to 30% performance gains in certain circumstances...;>)
