Hoover and the greedy Wall Street tycoons deserve the blame for the Great Depression. If Wall Street had been regulated then it never would have happened in the first place. We need many more regulations now on big business. Every time we remove them (like the S+L debacle and Enron energy crisis) disaster happens. Now we need increased regulation on all energy companies and polluters, as well as HMO's and drug companies. basically all the companies that gave Bush-Cheney the most money for the right to be able to cheat and gouge us.
