market share is not equal revenue and earnings. So just because guidance is lower that may not mean expected share loss. We do know that amd would likely have to lower their prices.

As far as HP losses then I disagree with you. If HP would choose to use Intel's core 2 duo only and if intel would choose to sell core 2 duo only to HP there are still would not be enough chips for HP. Now if HP would choose to replace part of their offerings with core 2 duo that they would be able to get would they replace p4s or athlons?
