Have you seen the Spirit of Haida Gwaii sculpture (Spirit Canoe)
at the Vancouver airport -- also by Reid?
The original plaster sculpture is here in Ottawa at the
Canadian Museum of Civilization - this is a webpage about it.
There's a bronze sculpture in Vancouver,
and another like it at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC.

it's been glorious here this past week
... shorts and t-shirt and lots of sun
screen. we gathered another 1500 pounds
of rock yesterday (1,575 actually).
i'll post a picture of it for you someday.
