I'm glad you saw the same thing with swimming that I saw. I hate to use anecdotal things- but in this case we ALL noticed (as teens) that skin looked fabulous in the summer. Of course I overdid it a little :-) as did many of my friends, and I'm certainly not advocating getting brown, but some sun and salt water or pool water would probably be excellent.

There's probably an internal component as well, since being outside and exercising makes you feel better, and releases all those natural chemicals in your body that we don't understand well enough yet.
