I am for profiling as well but folks need to be careful in doing it. Cops sometimes are overly impressed with their power. Have you ever been treated rudely at a traffic stop? I have. And when i went to challenge the ticket the judge was all over me although i was clearly in the right. I wasnt abusive at all to the cop or the judge and wound up with 100% added to the fine and the judge telling me i had a nice car and could afford the $175. The good news is that since he knew i was right, he waived the points which in NJ would have cost me about $300 more a year for 3.5 years.
