GPCB – I'm assuming here that if the interim look was close to "B" they wouldn't ask for an expedited re-look. It’s not a re-look because the DSMB hasn’t yet seen interim survival data—they’ve seen only interim PFS. Thus, I’m unclear as to why you reject the “close to B” scenario. “Close to B” with some unexpected toxicity is the most plausible scenario, IMHO, although “close to D” is almost as plausible.
