Is that any different than what AMD has claimed in the past? Last year Ruiz was stating that AMD would start sampling quad-core in 2007. If AMD starts sampling in 2007 it is pretty much a guarantee that actually products won't be available until H2 2007. Late 06/early 07 only seemed reasonable if AMD was planning to release a 90-nm quad-core CPU. I never thought it was likely but some others did.
