Etch, it should be a strong year for the semi-equips compared to 2005 unless something catastrophic happens during the next few months. All it takes to come to that conclusion is to review the BtB just released today by SEMI for the NA companies. For the first 4 months of the year, Bookings are up 38 percent and backlog has grown by 1.278B. This will translate to good Billings for the next several months.

Also, companies like AMAT expect a solid business environment going forward for the next several months. Even in the worst case scenario, Bookings and Billings will be up this year compared to 2005. The only question is - by how much?
