I assumed he was talking about Kinetic Energy. Have found understanding the formula KE = 1/2 MV^2 has helped me out on numerous occasions over the years. If you have a choice between size and speed, always choose speed. I actually went around weighing lawnmower blades recently before choosing one for the mulching mower. Lawn is so thick that it actually mattered, even with a 6 HP push mower. FWIW almost all blades were within a few ounces of each other.

Same here. But it morphed over the years. Probably be mass squared times velocity cubed in another 40 years <g>
