Yes, yes, of course it was considered unlikely. The point is, to assert that Dell's adoption in the 4S server space (and lack of adoption anywhere else) speaks "volumes" about their overall impression of AMD vs. Intel technology is... probably correct, but not in the way dramjoe thinks.

They will use AMD in the segment where AMD will (still) have a tech lead later this year, and everywhere else they will remain with Intel, which, finally, after a few years of lagging, will have a significant tech lead.
